Thread Lift - Temporal Access Mid Face Lift
This procedure is suitable for both men and women.

Facial Threading was designed to reduce early signs of facial ageing and help achieve a more youthful appearance.

This procedure is less invasive than a face lift, faster and lower cost. It involves using threads made from polypropylene that have evenly spaced tiny barbs the length of the thread. Once inserted under the skin, the threads are fixated in the direction that lifts the sagging tissues of the brow, face and neck. Over the next 3 - 6 months approximately, your collagen encapsulates and contracts around each thread. This leads to more lift.

The practitioner will assess the individual to determine the suitability for the threading procedure. Degrees of threading depend on the suitability of each individual to achieve an optimal result. Where excess skin exists a more extensive procedure is required

Threading procedures address the gravity and are aimed at adding support to the face. The procedure is a simple and convenient way to elevate sagging tissue, in the cheeks and mid-face and can soften the appearance of jowling.

An incision biocompatible with your body is made directly above each ear hidden in the hair line.  The barbed stitch is made of permanent polypropylene stitches with fine cogs that can grab the loose tissue and help hold it in place. Threads are anchored at the incision site, are minimally invasive and leave no telltale signs of surgery.  There are no visible scars. This can help produce a younger appearance with the added benefit of removing some loose skin.

Risks and Complications
Risks include an allergic reaction to the anaesthetic, hematoma, seroma, infection, palpability of the APTOS thread line.  Sometimes a thread end may poke through the skin, if this should happen contact your doctor immediately. Do not attempt to reinsert the thread yourself at any time.  Dislodging of the thread may occur resulting in a lopsided or crooked result (asymmetry)

Quick recovery with little down time required.
